Expedia.com is the one of the most popular travel websites. Expedia.com was part of the Microsoft family and split off about five years ago. I enjoy the opportunity working with the expedia team helping with custom Flash solutions.

My role at Expedia has been to make Photoshop mock-up designs into fully intteractive and functional Flash applications. I have been responsible for developing the Flash portions of the Insider Select, Ski Store and several scrolling deals widgets used on the Expedia.com website.

Challenge
To make dynamic Flash applications that allowed users to visually search resorts, maps and display changing rates.

Solution
Truning Photoshop files into intractive Flash applications that incorporate XML, videos and external images.

Benefit
Expedia.com had several custom built solutions developed on time and on budget.
