SEATTLE FLASH CS3 WEB DEVELOPER CLASS

In this Seattle Flash 8 Web Developer Class you will learn advanced Flash techniques using Macromedia Flash 8. In this one day Flash course you will complete several Flash exercises demonstrating the use of ActionScript, talking to databases and interacting with database driven website.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Creating a Flash Movie with Text (embed fonts with Flash don't create bitmap images!)
• Creating a Flash Movie with Animated Text (use Flash not animated Gifs)
• Importing .mp3 files into flash (add another dimension to your website and presentations)
• Importing .wav sound files into Flash
• Importing .jpg image files into Flash (create animated sideshows with Flash)
• Importing animated .gif files into Flash
• Importing image sequences into Flash
• Importing .avi files into Flash (add animated video to your presentations)
• Creating a Flash presentation with text, images, sound and video.
• Creating animated navigation for flash presentations
• Creating animated navigation for html websites

Flash Overview Lecture 9:00-10:00 P.M.
Morning Flash Exercise 11:00 - 12:00

• Creating your first flash movie
• Drawing a person with Flash
• Animating text with flash

Break for Lunch (Pizza or other light lunch buffet will be provided onsite)
Afternoon Flash Exercises 1:30 - 4:30

• Importing images,sound and video files into flash
• Animating movie clips using motion tween and shape tween
• Creating a flash intro or flash presentation on CD
• Creating animated flash navigation for a website
